How Does Reiki Work?
I am not sure if anyone fully understands how reiki works. I feel that reiki comes from a spiritual source, the energy from this source is intelligent or is guided by intelligence. When giving a treatment the person receiving the reiki actually pulls in the energy through the practitioner. On a deep level the patient tells the energy when to start, where to go and when to stop. The practitioner can feel the energy, usually as heat or tingling, start or stop. However, they in no way control the energy. The practitioner is only an open channel through which the energy flows. None of the practitioner's own energy is used or depleted. |
